A small child runs under a bridge in Kelvin Grove Park screaming and laughing with joy at the echo of their screams. Acoustics are not just for auditoriums but fill our cities with sound, vibrations and joy. Using the city as her auditorium violinist Sandie Bishop sought out six found acoustically excellent or unusual sites across the city, be they under bridges, in court yards next to museums, down hidden alleys, in the East, West, North or South and in each site performed one of Bach’s Sonatas and Partitas for solo violin.
