| Tramway
is a ‘found’ site celebrated by artists and audiences
who recognise it as a space of possibility. An unresolved space
awaiting creative interpretation. Treating this found site as
a creative partner, seven of Scotland’s leading poets have
created a suite of poems inspired by a location deep in the
heart of Tramway that is usually passed by and unnoticed. This
collection characterises a diverse range of cultural experience
and heritage which is reflective of Glasgow and particularly
of Tramway’s local community. Each poet has explored a
particular space leading to a unique and personal insight into
spaces inscribed with the memories of people, work and activity.
